Lea Hall Miners Welfare Centre serves Rugeley and surrounding towns in Staffordshire.
It is a place for local people to meet and socialise which has a significant positive impact on their mental health and wellbeing by reducing loneliness for the most vulnerable in our community.
Thousands of people come through our doors over a 12-month period, with the majority attending family functions or our very popular fund-raising events. Regular weekly attendance is around 650 people of all ages, attending a variety of support groups, social events, or as members of a sports club.
